Jakemans Celebrates Continued Partnership with Boston United FC

We are delighted to announce that Jakemans has extended its longstanding sponsorship of Boston United Football Club in a new multi-year agreement.

This renewed partnership means the Jakemans name will continue to be proudly associated with the club’s home ground, the Jakemans Community Stadium, which has been at the heart of the Boston community since it opened in 2021. Our relationship with Boston United began back in 2008 with the sponsorship of a stand at York Street, and it’s grown stronger every year since.

Our Executive Chairman, Jon Groves, shared:

"It has been a long and happy relationship with Boston United, and as a multi-generational family business, we highly value the club's positive commitment and impact to the community that they serve. We are therefore delighted to support and continue to be a part of the club's journey on and off the pitch."
 

Boston United chairman David Newton also expressed his appreciation:

“We have built a very special relationship with the Jakemans brand, and the Jakemans board, over more than 15 years. We’re thrilled that this will continue for years to come and are proud to support the wider Lanes Health family of brands where possible.”
 

To mark the announcement, a partnership photograph was taken featuring our Executive Chairman Jon Groves, Non-Executive Chairman Janet Groves, Operations Director Mark Horan, Technical Director Rachel Davies and Financial Director Simon Rodger, alongside Boston United’s senior leadership team.
 

This sponsorship is more than a commercial arrangement, it reflects our shared vision for community, wellbeing, and positive impact. We look forward to the continued journey with Boston United, as proud supporters both in the stands and beyond.

TAKE CARE OF YOUR VOICE THIS WINTER WITH JAKEMANS

At Jakemans we understand the importance of our voices, not only for communicating verbally but also in terms of tone and the emotive meaning behind how we speak and sound.

Our recent survey (which spoke to 2,000 adults) revealed that most of us recognise how important tone of voice is with 86% claiming to adjust their voice when they are addressing certain situations. But 54% said that it was them losing their voice that made them recognise its importance.

Jakemans has been recognised for its success in business by the Made in Lincolnshire awards team, scooping the award for ‘Sold Nationwide’. This is the first Made in Lincolnshire awards ceremony to take place and recognises the contribution of local manufacturers to the county.
